This kit is ideal for users who want a convenient and sensitive assay. The assay is designed for the enumeration of cells secreting human IL-10. The kit includes ELISpot plates pre-coated with monoclonal antibody, biotinylated detection antibody, Streptavidin-ALP and ready-to-use BCIP/NBT-plus substrate. A polyclonal activator for human T cells (mAb CD3-2) is supplied as a positive control for cytokine secretion.

IL-10
Interleukin-10 (IL-10, IL10) is a pleiotropic cytokine that is produced by activated T cells and monocytes. It can modulate the functions of immune responses in both a stimulatory and an inhibitory way. IL-10 is thereby involved in the regulation of immune reactions and inflammatory responses.
