SPECIFICITY
Antiserum was cross-adsorbed on bovine, goat, horse, human, mouse, pig, and rat immunosorbents to remove cross-reactive antibodies. By immunoelectrophoresis and
ELISA
this antibody reacts specifically with chicken IgY and with light chains common to other chicken immunoglobulins. Reactivity with other non-immunoglobulin serum proteins is not detected. Less than 0.1% cross-reactivity to bovine, goat, horse, human, mouse, pig, rabbit, and rat IgG.
